Staff was proactive - offered a hair dryer to folks at breakfast (with wet hair).
There was no shampoo in the bathroom.

We were very happy with the service provided by the staff and appreciated the continental breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. Liked the window seat and having the TV up high. We had to book a smoking room as non-smoking rooms were unavailable. We're non-smokers, so the smell really was overwhelming. We even brought disinfectant spray and other air fresheners, but nothing worked. Do the rooms ever get truly cleaned after a smoker has resided in them? ...read more

You cannot beat the location if you are visiting the university..great value for the money if you are looking for a place to lay your head.
We had to take a smoking room and it smelled awful

You cannot beat this place if you are visiting Virginia Tech and are only looking for a place to sleep.

Rooms were very small. Breakfast was limited as to selection.

The rooms were very small. We negotiated for a suite which was some what better. This is the first time we have settled for a lower star rating. We won't do it again.
